一、Liz’s “crazy” idea: dressing up dogs in clown costumes
Liz is a full-time illustrator and designer who founded her own studio, SchmidteGoods. A true circus and canine enthusiast, she creates unique personas for each of her “circus dogs”:
Trick is a clever white dog skilled in magic tricks, his orange and black outfit hiding countless surprises;
Snap is an enthusiastic juggling master, his red and white striped outfit adorned with pom-poms as props;
Orion is a mysterious flying dog, his deep blue star-patterned outfit seemingly wearing the night sky on his body…
These distinctive designs, both adorable and dramatic, instantly ignited the creative passion of our production team.
二、Manufacturer’ “meticulousness”: Transforming creativity into embracable reality
A beautiful design is just the beginning. To transform it into a cuddly, companionable plush toy, we need to pay meticulous attention to detail in the manufacturing process:
- Fabric: Based on the fluffy texture of the puppies, we chose rabbit fur fabric, which is very soft and perfect for hugging. The clothes are made of diamond fleece, giving each circus dog a unique look.
- Craftsmanship: Reproducing the details of the design 1:1.
The “clown bow tie,” “pom-pom decorations,” and “face embroidery” in Liz’s design were achieved using high-precision embroidery and hand-sewing; the filling is made of PP cotton, providing a sense of security and maintaining its shape even after prolonged use.
